The Location
pierside kitchen&bar is located at the very modern One Fullerton, superbly located for the business and financial districts and picturesque enough to be very much a destination location, both for the tourist and local clientele. A dramatic juxtaposition of old and new Singapore, pierside kitchen&bar sits at the edge of one of Singapore's oldest piers, Clifford Pier, directly opposite the Fullerton Hotel, and across the bay facing the impressive cityscape skyline of the marina.

Centrally located in the hub of the financial district, One Fullerton is a stone's throw from Raffles Place and Shenton Way as well as the increasingly professionally populated area of Raffles Link. Also within close proximity to the many hotels of Raffles City and the marina (including Raffles Hotel, The Pan-Pacific, The Oriental, The Ritz-Carlton and, of course, The Fullerton Hotel), pierside kitchen&bar will offer its guests a cosmopolitan eating and drinking venue at the edge of the city, unlike any other. With the opening of The Esplanade, pierside kitchen&bar also offers the ideal choice for pre or post theatre dinners with great food and wine, a perfect way to start or end your evening.

   
 
 
 
The Kitchen
A stylish pierside restaurant, perfect for either a light and breezy lunch venue or a starlit and sexy dinner rendezvous. The relaxed waterside dining with the definitive "getaway" feel and effortless, throwaway style will ensure a lively, casual and hip atmosphere to dine and drink.

Portions will be generous with an emphasis on the freshest of ingredients. An international flavour will be apparent in the variety of dishes and the innovative preparations, marrying seasonal ingredients from the world over. A convivial and relaxed eating environment offering dishes such as pan seared king scallops and nasu eggplant agedashi, stuffed zucchini flowers wood charred piquello red peppers, baked chicken in parchment with garlic & green olive & lemon rice, plateau de fruits de mer, oven roasted miso cod and of course the freshest oysters on ice.

pierside kitchen&bar's innovative and confident style of cooking is executed by award winning Chef Robin Ho. Trained at Singapore's "Les Amis" and "Au Jardin" and spending his summers in London in the kitchens of famous restaurants "Le Gavroche", "Chez Bruce" and Marco Pierre White's "Oak Room", this young, dynamic chef's fresh approach to cooking has been enjoyed at award winning Marmalade Restaurant and Bar and The Marmalade Pantry.
   
   
 
 

The Design Concept
Designed by Albano Daminato, the setting for pierside kitchen&bar is a clever fresh take on the distinctive pared-down style and luxury found in his design for marmalade restaurant and bar. Relating strongly to its waterfront location the restaurant and bar will be animated by shimmering light, water, and marine traffic imagery.

Incorporating a palette of large glass panels, mirror, Italian and Spanish stone, steel and blonde timber manipulated meticulously within a soaring, spare white cubic space, the interior will reflect changing natural light by day and provide a background for subtle candlelit seaside dining by night.

The more intimate interior bar space will allow maximum visibility both from outside in and inside out. The place to be seen casually unobserved with a lazy, sexy groove. Various forms of seating and tables within the spaces will enhance the relaxed ambience.

The alfresco space will allow larger groups of friends to gather in a breezy, starlit location. The stylish venue to have coffee and tea in the afternoon. Transforms into a subtle, sexy, sophisticated and sultry space to have drinks late into the night. Communal benches form part of this highly convivial gathering space for open air camaraderie or canoodling under wide - brimmed grey canvas umbrellas.

pierside kitchen&bar's uniforms are designed by Song & Kelly 21 and reflect the throwaway relaxed style of the space. Capri trousers, poplin shirts and smart white aprons add to the getaway feel of this destination restaurant and bar.

   
 
 
 

The Bar
With a visually stunning alfresco space, the pierside bar is an ideal location for a groovy waterside bar. The bar will serve as a trendy, highly social watering hole, perfect for a casual after work drink. And indoors, a more intimate, sexy drinks lounge provides a hip, chill out scene for late night drinking.

A global flavour will be apparent in the variety of drinks and innovative preparations. Sake martinis, espresso martinis, caipirinha, long beach iced teas and sangria are part of this eclectic and exciting bar list. There will also be an emphasis on shared drinks served in a unique and definitive style - trays of stengahs, pitchers of sloe gin lime and jugs of margaritas. Also, the exciting bar food selection will be comprehensive and maintain a beachhouse feel with an emphasis on sharing healthy, outdoorsy portions including cumin spiced crab rolls and sushi platters.

Access
There are many ways to pierside kitchen&bar: (i) by car approaching from Raffles Link where One Fullerton will have 360 space car park, (ii) on foot via the overhead pass from Change Alley and Raffles Place to Clifford Centre, (iii) on foot by underground travellator from One Fullerton to Raffles Place via The Fullerton Hotel and (iv) by MRT to Raffles Place. see map
